Dr. Melinda Bryan
First, and most importantly, we hope this email finds you and your loved ones healthy and well. We want to assure you that we take the health and well-being of our community, patients, and employees very seriously. Like you, we're closely monitoring the quickly developing effects of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
As of this writing, we are continuing to provide physical therapy service to our patients in a limited capacity. If you have had a recent surgery or feel that you can not wait 30 days for your next appointment, and are not considered high risk, please call us. There will be one therapist available on weekdays for limited hours.
We suggest that instead of canceling your visits, you request a telehealth appointment by calling our office.
Here's what we are doing for you in clinic:
There will be no more than 10 people in the clinic at one time. Most often it will be only therapist and patient.
We have adjusted our schedules to accommodate, and we will be operating on very limited hours
In addition to our normal cleaning, we are sanitizing all equipment used, and rooms after each patient using CDC approved disinfectants. This includes cleaning all surfaces including weights, med balls, bands, etc.
Anyone entering the clinic will immediately sanitize their hands
Every person entering the clinic will be offered gloves
We will do our best to maintain distance 6 feet from others
We will be screening every patient before their scheduled appointment time.
If you decide you can wait to return to our clinic for PT for now, please consider a Telehealth visit with us by video on doxy.me. Dr. Melinda and Dr. Chelsea have video office hours by appointment and can share the link with you when you make an appointment........or..........

Physical Therapy Services and Coronavirus
How Performing Arts PT is Protecting Patients and Staff
The new coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2, which causes the coronavirus infectious disease COVID-19, as named by the World Health Organization, is disrupting life as usual and is exacting a visible human and economic toll. This advisory contains information on suggested personal preventive and protective measures, what we are doing at this time regarding clinic hygiene, and physical therapy services.
STAY AT HOME IF YOU ARE SICK
A key point is keeping people who are ill away from other people. Therefore, we have instructed any staff feeling ill to remain at home. We ask the same of any patients feeling ill. Limit contact with people in general that may appear sick and if you are sick with respiratory symptoms and fever, seek advice from your primary care doctor.
PRACTICE PROPER HAND & WRIST HYGIENE
Wash your hands – and your wrists often. Staff regularly wash their hands between patients, or wear gloves, but we are placing extra emphasis on this. We ask patients to wash their hands, or use hand sanitizer, before and after treatment.
COVER YOUR COUGHS & SNEEZES WITH A TISSUE
Please cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing. If no tissue is handy, sneeze or cough into a bent elbow. Wear a mask if you are coughing or sneezing regularly.
AVOID TOUCHING YOUR EYES, NOSE OR MOUTH
People frequently touch their eyes, nose or mouth without even realizing it. Try and eliminate this behavior, particularly after touching objects or being around someone who is coughing or sneezing.
CLEANING & DISINFECTION IN OUR CENTER
We have always practiced good cleaning and disinfecting protocols and have increased the frequency and depth of those efforts. Rest assured that we are paying extra attention to items that are frequently touched.
We are open for physical therapy services!
As of this writing, we continue to offer PT services. We have private treatment rooms and exercise areas. There is limited staff and no chiropractic service on site at this time. We are consolidating our schedules and will notify our patients if this effects their appointment time. If you are interested in having a Telehealth visit with one of our doctors of physical therapy, please contact us to arrange this. Water therapy classes have been cancelled until further notice.
We thank you for your patience as we all work through this together. Remember, if you are not ill, it is very important to continue eating well and exercising. We are your partners in health and hope we can provide you with continuity in your physical therapy care, whether in the office, or online.
